Every session is virtual, free for readers, and recorded. The three feature days carry the season; the weekly programme keeps the community reading between them.

Opening Feature Day & Live Reading

Virtual — live stream and Q&A

The season opens with the first full rotation of author spotlights, a live reading block and an open floor for readers. Recordings are published the following morning.

Mid-Season Feature Day & Award Longlist

Virtual — live stream, panel and Q&A

The second rotation of spotlights goes live alongside the award longlist announcement, with judge citations read aloud and a craft panel on structure.

Closing Feature Day & Winners Ceremony

The final rotation, the winners ceremony across all six award categories and the Book of the Festival announcement. Certificates are issued to every participant.

An hour with the current recommended title. Open to readers and authors; no preparation required beyond the chapters.

Every Tuesday

Author Office Hours

Thirty-minute slots with the account manager for registration, payment and feature-date questions.

First Saturday monthly

Manuscript Clinic

Bring five pages. Two festival readers respond on structure, voice and opening promise.

Third Sunday monthly

Book Club Host Briefing

For clubs adopting a festival title — discussion questions, timing and how to invite the author.

How to attend

All sessions are online and free for readers. Register once through the contact form and you receive the joining link plus a calendar invite for every feature date in the season.

If you miss a session

Every live session is recorded and published to the portfolio archive within twenty-four hours. Recordings stay online permanently — nothing is taken down at the end of the season.

Speaking at an event

Virtual Participation authors ($250) receive a live reading slot and a recorded interview. Digital Placement authors ($150) can request a reading slot subject to availability.

Time zones

Times are published in West Africa Time with an Eastern Time equivalent. Calendar invites carry the correct local time automatically.
