Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and the HaySuccess Literary & Arts Festival when you participate.
Participation rules
Participation is open to authors of any nationality. You confirm that the book you submit is your own work and that you hold the rights to the cover, text and images you supply. Materials must be submitted at least one week before your scheduled session.
Payment terms
Digital Placement Participation is $150 and Virtual Participation is $250, payable in full before your feature goes live. Payments are accepted through Fiverr, Upwork or bank transfer. Any platform fees charged by Fiverr or Upwork are covered by the payer.
Refund policy
A full refund is available if you cancel more than seven days before your scheduled session or before your featured page is published, whichever comes first. Once your page is live or your session has been recorded, the fee is non-refundable.
Cancellation policy
The festival may reschedule a session for technical or scheduling reasons; you will be offered a new slot at no cost. If we cancel your participation entirely and cannot reschedule, you receive a full refund.
Code of conduct
All participants, moderators and attendees agree to behave respectfully. Harassment, hate speech, plagiarism and disruptive conduct result in immediate removal without refund.
Intellectual property
You retain full copyright in your book and all materials you supply. By participating you grant the festival a non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce and promote those materials for festival promotion. The festival retains rights to its own branding, page designs and session recordings, and provides you a copy of your recording for your own use.
Liability
The festival is not responsible for sales results, reviews, media coverage or third-party platform outages. We deliver the services listed for your chosen option.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are communicated by email to current participants.
